Violet Olesen

Violet was born on March 8, 1940 at Hadley, Minnesota, the daughter of Albert and Alta (Ireton) Redenius. 

Violet passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis Olesen of Wilmot, SD and Jerry (Karen) Rowe of Sioux Falls; two sisters, Phyllis Brennan of Fulda, MN and Darlene Milner of Pensacola, FL; a grandson, Josh Rowe of Sioux Falls; special friend, June Verburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Toby.

Violet was preceded in death by her siblings, Donna, Ron, Jim, Ralph, Marv and Leon.
