Tamara “Tami” Kaye Joldersma, age 66, of Slayton, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 18, 2026

Tami was born to Esther and Mike Joldersma and spent her life rooted in southwest Minnesota. She was a proud and devoted mother to Mitchell (Kari) Joldersma and Jennifer (Andi) Hochrein, and an even prouder grandmother to Jack and Haddie Joldersma, who brought her endless joy.

Tami embraced a natural approach to health and well-being and was truly one of a kind. Tami was a massage therapist and the owner of Muscle Mechanix, which she opened in 2009. She took pride in her work and built her business through dedication and a desire to help those around her. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Edgerton and she watched from the quiet comfort of her home every Sunday. Devoted to her Bible study, she lived a life of faith, trusting in God's plan.

She had an easygoing, lighthearted spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. In the words of her grandchildren "she was a good person who was unstoppable, funny, and enthusiastic about life." Their favorite memories were going to the pool and getting ice cream with her in the summer. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially outings with friends for a good meal, participating in water aerobics, and shopping locally. Tami was a dog lover and was the perfect dog sitter, spoiling them with homemade treats, when she decided to no longer have her own dog.

She leaves behind a family who was blessed to have shared in her life and she will be deeply missed. Tami is survived by her children, Mitchell (Kari) Joldersma and Jennifer (Andi) Hochrein; her beloved grandchildren, Jack and Haddie Joldersma; her sister, Paula (Kyle) Chase; and her brothers, Greg (Becky) Joldersma and Michael (Rhonda) Joldersma. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mark Joldersma.
