Richard Collings

Richard was born on December 3, 1965 to Marlys and John Collings. He grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1985 He married Jennifer Hoffmeister on April 16, 2004

Richard was employed at Godfathers Pizza on east 10th street. Richard also worked at the Argus Leader for many years delivering the paper and at the Argus Leader, delivering newspapers for many year until multiple health conditions forced him to retire. 

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Richard’s hobbies included scrapping metals and working on cars. He loved playing with his dog, 

Richard is survived by his mother, Marlys; his wife, Jennifer; a sister, Rose Rillinger, all of Sioux Falls; a brother, Douglas (Roxanne) Collings of Columbia, SD; two nieces, Crystal and Ruth;  and a nephew, Daniel. 

He is preceded in death by his father, John Collings, and a great nephew, Hunter Burchardi.
