Peggy Volden

Peggy passed away on Jan. 24 at her residence in Sioux Falls.

Peggy was born on June 18, 1958 in Canton, SD the daughter of David and Donna (Siegfried) Volden. The family moved often as they were growing up because her father worked for a construction company and work took them to many parts of the country. Peggy really enjoyed her younger years living in Canton.

She worked in Sioux Falls most of her life. Peggy was the kitchen manager at Jono's, a cook for Augustana College and the Good Samaritan Village. She then spent a number of years on the production line at Carlisle Plastics.

Peggy loved horses and trained them for several years. She also had a great sense of adventure and enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiles.

She is survived by three sons, Ryan, Scott and Jared; and four siblings, Al, Jim, Tanya and Amy.
