His career was marked by a steadfast dedication to public safety and a genuine desire to make his community a safer place for everyone. Loyd's colleagues remember him as a man of integrity and kindness, whose caring demeanor left an indelible mark on the lives of many.
Beyond his professional life, Loyd was a man of varied interests and hobbies. He had a great love for western movies, often enjoying them as a form of escapism and relaxation. His passion for bike riding took him on many adventures, allowing him to appreciate the beauty of the world around him. Loyd also found joy in shooting guns, a hobby that connected him with friends and provided a sense of camaraderie and enjoyment.Loyd's most cherished role was that of a father.
He is survived by his beloved son, Terry Taylor, who carries forward his father's legacy of compassion and strength.
