Lorrin Jensen

Lorrin Curtis Jensen was born on 8/17/1941 to Art and Dorothy (Thompson) Jensen in Sioux Falls SD. He grew up in Badgerand Brookings, SD until the family moved to Sioux Falls in 1960. After moving to Sioux Falls, Lorrin attended LifeScape school for the handicapped and helped his dad at the family service stations until Art retired in 1985. Lorrin essentially ran the service office, answering the phone and scheduling services as well as selling Mason Shoes.

Lorrin enjoyed Bingo, video lottery, playing poker and listening to his police scanner. Even after moving to the Bethany Lutheran Nursing home in 2022, he made sure he never missed bingo!

Grateful for having shared his life are his brother in law, Ed Torgerson, Sioux Falls, SD. Sister, Doreen (Dave) Wilson of Grove Port OH. Nieces Jodean (John), Julie (Davey), Amy, and Nicole(Ed); and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Dorothy, brother Leon, sister Jilane, and nephew LeRoy.
