Rev. Dr. Kenneth Mays Sr went to his heavenly home on June 27th, 2025 at the young age of 76.
He was born March 29,1949 in Lexington NE to Kenneth and Frances (Klauz) Mays.He met the love of his life Dorothy at a Youth Rally in Council Bluffs, NE. They were married a year after they met on July 13th, 1968.
Ken went to Apostolic Bible Institute in Saint Paul MN, North American Baptist Seminary and Sioux Falls College. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Sociology in June of 2005. He always wanted to learn more about the Ministry, History and Native American cultures.
He took great pride in being a minister of the Gospel and being the Pastor of Restoration Church. He enjoyed being a Professor for Rasmussen College where he taught online classes and wrote training materials for the years ahead. Ken also enjoyed being a coach for the Special Olympics and the people he coached.
Ken had a deep love for God and his family and enjoyed talking about them. There was no greater pride than spoiling his grand and great-grandkids.
