Julianne (Holly) Jean Hilden passed away peacefully in Sioux Falls, SD, on June 11th, 2026. She was 51 years old.

Born on December 18th, 1974, Holly was the daughter of the late Gary and Sandy Hilden, growing up in Bloomington, MN. The youngest of three children, she was active in band and danceline in high school.

Jules was a loving and protective mother and will be remembered for her independent spirit and the resilience she showed throughout her life’s journey. She celebrated her Scandinavian heritage and received her degree in Scandinavian Studies from the University of Minnesota. She enjoyed genealogy, traveling and had a black belt in Taekwondo.

Her surviving family and friends will cherish her memory: her mother, Sandra Hilden of Burnsville, MN; her son, Espen Malloy, of Sioux Falls; her brother, Joel Hilden and wife Terri, of Wichita Falls, TX; her sister, Shelley Baccus and husband Ronny, of Houston, TX; her nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Hilden.
