John Nhamburo

John was born in Zimbabwe. He completed his education and 1st degree in Zimbabwe. He went on to work as a Plant Research Scientist in Zimbabwe and then Zambia.

He left Zimbabwe in the late 1970s to pursue a Master’s degree at the South Dakota State University in Brookings USA.

In Brookings, he worked at the South Dakota State University and Twin City Fan. During his spare time, he enjoyed reading and playing Sudoku, gardening, playing tennis, fishing and taking very long walks. John is survived by three children and eight grandchildren. He loved his family dearly especially his grandchildren and will be missed dearly.

John's final resting place will be in Zimbabwe.
