James Diegmiller

James Brian Diegmiller lost his battle to cancer on August 21, 2026 at his home in Parker, SD with his daughter and grandchildren by his side, at the age of 68.

Jim was born on December 2, 1957 to the late Paul & Patricia Diegmiller in Barnesville, OH. He was the second baby of a set of twins. Jim grew up in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Where he attended school at Welty High.

He started driving truck the day after graduation and continued trucking most of his life, then he went into dispatching. Jim loved trucking, riding his motorcycle, adventures, tinkering with anything mechanical, and trying to build anything. He held his family, friends, and pets very close to his heart.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Brandee Hanson of Gettysburg, SD, his two grandsons Dylan (Bethany) Nowka and Austin (Benz) Nowka of Sioux Falls, SD, three brothers Bruce (Sue), Jay (Deb), and Paul (Jane) Diegmiller of New Philadelphia, Oh, and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was proceeded in death by his long term partner, Cheryl, and his parents Paul & Patricia Diegmiller.
