Elaine Kara Davis

Elaine passed away on January 10, 2024 from colon cancer. Elaine was born on October 21, 1981 in Sioux Falls to Glenn and Marlene (Kracke) Davis. She grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Washington Hgh School.

Elaine worked as a cashier at HyVee until her illness caused her to leave her job. She was a hard worker who enjoyed interacting with her customer and always had a smile on her face. She would spend a lot of time with her family, friends and her dog, Shanelle. Elaine will be dearly missed by many people.

Elaine is survived by her mother, Marlene Davis; two sisters, Cheryl Boyda and Charlene Davis, both of Sioux Falls; two brothers, Todd (Sara) Davis and Scott Stoll, both of Balaton, MN; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, John Hoss.

She is preceded in death by her father, Glenn; her sisters, Glenda Raile, Sara Davis, Dawn Johnson and Vicky Stoll; and a brother in law, Daniel Boyda.
