Dorothy was born October 24, 1946 in Superior WI, the youngest child of Lawrence & Bernice (Ford) Tharge.
In 1966, Dorothy gave birth to her first child, Tina. In 1969, she married Robert Davis and from this union came four children, Colleen, Shawn, Kerry and Katherine.
Dorothy worked in the food service industry, mainly as a server, In August of 1987 a supervisor wrote “ Dorothy was a very hard worker often doing what others failed to do” In 1991, Dorothy was employed at Kozy Korner restaurant in Pierre, SD and during this time her first grandchild, Autumn was born followed by her grandson, Devin. The family moved to Sioux Falls, SD in the summer of 1999 where she was employed at Kmart. and her 2nd grandson, Kezery, was born. In the summer of 2009, she was excited to have her four granddaughters, Esther, Bethany, Ruthann, and Erinn move to Sioux Falls. In 2014, came the first of her great grandchildren, Payton, in 2015 Eli and in 2017 Patricia.
She is survived by her children Tina (Andy) Sullivan of Norfolk Va
