With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Donald "Don" Norwick, who departed from this world on May 16, 2024, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. He was 63 years old.

Born on September 14, 1960, in Parkston, SD, Don's journey began with a radiant spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him. He pursued his education with diligence, graduating from Ethan Independent High School before furthering his studies at the University of Sioux Falls. Don dedicated 29 years of service to the Postal Service, retiring on March 14, 2022, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and dedication.

A beacon of light and humor, Don brought joy to every room he entered. He was the beloved husband of Ruby Norwick, a devoted father to Danielle (Ryan) Koch and Jasmine (Dan) Habeck, and a cherished stepfather to Rachel (Ryu) Stoddard and Russell (Jenna) Ditalo.

Throughout his life, Don epitomized unwavering faith, compassion, and integrity. His love for God and His words radiated through every aspect of his being, whether in his career, church, or relationships. Don's kindness and warmth knew no bounds, and he touched countless lives with his biblical messages, compassion, humor, and generosity.

Don leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration, forever etched in the hearts of his siblings Sherry Collins, Barb (Glen) Maag, Beth Norwick, Gail Norwick, and Bryce (Christy) Norwick, Brandon Norwick as well as his cherished grandchildren Hudson, Grace, Elijah, Michael, Gabriel, Kai, Mahtias, Asher, Neo, and Ivy. He is reunited in eternal peace with his father, Donald, his mother, Loretta, and his brother, Brian.

A celebration of Don's life will take place on May 25, 2024, at LifeChange Church - 6300 W 41st St, Sioux Falls, SD 57106, beginning at 10:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the church gymnasium.

Though Don may no longer walk among us, his spirit will endure in the memories of all who were privileged to know him. May he rest in peace, forever remembered, and deeply missed.
