Clifford Lund

Clifford Dean Lund (aka “Cid Seizure”), of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away peacefully at his home on July 2, 2024.

Cliff was born on March 26, 1950 to George and Irene (Selken) Lund. He attended school in Sioux Falls, graduating from Washington Senior High school. Cliff was proud to be a brother of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity while attending the University of South Dakota. Throughout his life, he worked various jobs, including 30 years in the freight trucking industry. One of his greatest passions throughout life was his involvement in sports, especially basketball and fast-pitch softball. 

Cliff is survived by his ex-wife, Susan, and their three children: Erin (Adam) Sylvester of Rockford, MN; Eric Lund of Pensacola, FL; and Emilee (Will) Bessler of Bison, SD; six grandchildren: Elizabeth and Anthony Sylvester; Sydney Lund; and Cora, Lila, and Beckett Bessler; Brothers: Terry (Linda) Lund of Crosby, TX, and Randy (Shirley) Lund of Sioux Falls, SD, as well as a niece, three nephews, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and special friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, George and Irene Lund. In honor of Cliff’s wishes, there will be no memorial service or family visitation. He will be interred at Hills of Rest Memorial Park in Sioux Falls, SD on his parents grave site.
