Cliff Schwebach

Clifford (Cliff) Schwebach of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, peacefully passed away on August 23, 2026, At Ava's Hospice House. He was born May 29, 1951, to William and Mildred Schwebach in Iowa.

Cliff worked at Chase bag for many years, before starting construction with his son's until 2008 when he retired. Cliff will be remembered for keeping everyone on their toes and making sure things were done his way. Cliff fought a long hard battle with cancer for the last 14 months.

He loved spending time with his pup, Snickers, they were inseparable until she passed in 2018. Snickers made it known she was the real boss and never left his side. They did everything together and went on many trips and car rides together. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, and loved to stop by and visit his grand pups, Oreo and Kona, while always trying to feed them something he shouldn't be.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Schwebach (Round lake, MN) three,  sons, Eric McKercher, Aaron Schwebach (Fiancé Kayla), Kiley Schwebach (Sioux Falls); four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill (Schwebach (Madison), Bud (Jolene) Schwebach (Rushmore, MN) and Virgil (Rhonda) Schwebach (Pennsylvania); and many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by Tammie Schwebach (Wife): William & Mildred Schwebach (Parents); Delores Dammann & Theresa Meyer (Sisters).

There will be a celebration of life held in September.
