Carol Ann Bahm

Carol Ann Bahm passed away July 20th, 2025 at Ava's House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Carol Ann Bahm was born December 30th 1953 to Lawrence and Louise Bahm. Carol Ann was the second out of 10 kids.

Carol Ann married William Senter in December of 1972 and to this union Harold, Christopher and Victor was born. Carol Ann married Ray Durrin in August of 1984 and to this union Jessica was born. In 2011, she met Jerry Meidinger and they spent the remaining years together.

Carol Ann worked multiple jobs in her life but home health care is where she felt was her true calling. She took care of Lois Wilcox for many years.

Carol Ann's greatest joys was her kids, grandchildren and her great granddaughter. She also loved cooking, baking, crocheting. She would often make family their favorite dishes and baked goods and blankets.

In April 2025, Carol Ann was diagnosed with stage III lymphoma and fought a short but courageous battle.

She is survived by fiancee Jerry Meidinger of Plankinton, SD. Sons Harold Senter (Julie Cerv) of Winner, SD, Christopher Senter (Stacey Anderson) of Winner, SD, Victor Senter of Scottbulf, NE, stepson Duane Meidinger (Barb Meidinger) of Plankinton, SD and Daughter Jessica Durrin (Lisa Rodriguez) of Stickney, SD. Stepdaughter Donna Castelluzzo of Sioux Falls, SD. Grandchildren Claudia Kiser (Dean Kiser) of Eugene, OR, Brennen Smith of Mitchell, SD, Andrew Vogel (Alex Vogel) of Aberdeen, SD, Cadence Senter of Winner, SD, Summer Cerv of Winner, SD and Christa Senter of Winner, SD and Skyler Epling (Jack Epling) of Salem, SD. And great granddaughter Juniper Vogel of Aberdeen,SD and great grandsons Ryker Castelluzzo, Trinex Epling, and Ezrah Epling all from Salem, SD. Sisters Lynette Baker of Pierre, SD and Yolanda Esterling (Rick Esterling) of Mitchell, SD. Brothers Lawrence Bahm (Cyndie Corderio) of Marietta, California, Steven Bahm of Irene, SD and David Bahm of Pierre, SD, and Aunt Lavina Bahm of Rochester Washington and Uncle Ray Bahm (Bonnie Bahm) of St. Paul, Minnesota. And numerous neices, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Sidney Bahm. Siblings Donald Bahm, Geneva Bahm, Kevin Bahm and Tammy Bahm. Grandchildren Devon Senter and Katrina Senter. Brother in law Robert Matousek and Nephews Tyler Bahm and great nephew Tristan Matousek.

A private burial will be held at a later time. at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery at Dallas, South Dakota.
