Bonnie Stillman
August 21, 1942 — September 21, 2018
Bonnie, age 76 of White Bear Lake, MN, formerly of Sioux Falls, SD, peacefully passed from this life to her new Heavenly home on Sept. 21, 2018. She was preceded in death by parents, Percy and Pearl Stillman. She leaves behind a brother, Gene (Shannon) Stillman; beloved sister, Caryl (Lee) Aanenson; nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, family, friends and loving care-givers.
Bonnie survived a multitude of obstacles in her lifetime, but always met them head-on and bounced back. Her 2 favorite jobs were working at the Caille Library in Sioux Falls and working at PetLand in St. Paul. She loved law enforcement, her dog “Sun Pan,” stuffed animals, her hamsters and anyone who made Bonnie feel important.
She will be remembered as a caring, loving, funny gal who enjoyed the Vikings, walking, talking, laughing, singing, her cute dance moves, crafts, finger nail polish, ear rings and rings.
The family is so appreciative of the loving care Bonnie received by ResCare staff in her final 2 months. You gave us the gift of peace! Lifespark and Heartland Hospice were so supportive and caring as well.
We are also grateful for the NER care-givers who made Bonnie feel so loved and special!
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 at Community of Grace Lutheran Church, 4000 Linden St, White Bear Lake, with visitation one hour prior to the service. There will also be a gathering at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 at Chapel Hills Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. Refreshments will be served following the services. Interment will be at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Northeast Residence Inc., Community of Grace Lutheran Church, WBL or Wesley United Methodist Church, Sioux Falls.
