Annette was Born on January 10, 1957 in Detroit, MI to Waldemar and Beatrice Szpaichler. She grew up in Lincoln Park, and then moved to Wyandotte, MI and is a graduate of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Wyandotte, MI, Class of 1975. She met her husband Robert in 1974 and they then Married at St. Cyprian Catholic Church on 07/29/1977. They started their family in Woodhaven, MI, and have moved multiple states since.
Annette is survived by her loving husband, Robert Van Peeren of 46 years. Their children Jason Van Peeren, Rebecca (Casey) Tribitt, and Christopher (Lindsay) Van Peeren. Her grandchildren Tyler, Chloe, Carter, Carly, Cammy, and Zander, and her great-grandchild, Luka.
She is also survived by her siblings Paul (Cheryl) Szpaichler, Maryanne (Dennis) Randt, and Thomas Szpaichler, along with many nieces and Nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Waldemar and Beatrice Szpaichler, and her brothers, Gregory and Kenneth Szpaichler, who have welcomed her into the heavenly fold.
In accordance with her wishes, Annette was laid to rest in a private ceremony at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD, surrounded by her immediate family. A memorial service to honor her life will be held in Downriver, Michigan, at a future date to be announced. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance of a life lived with grace, integrity, and love.
