Wayne Roger Dullerud

Wayne Roger Dullerud, 51 of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Sunday, Dece,ber 26, 2010. Wayne was born to Roger and Roselyn on June 23, 1959 in Sioux Falls. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1978, and attended Sioux Falls College. Wayne was united in marriage to Sharon Hendrickson on September 3, 1982 in Sioux Falls. The couple lived in Harrisburg and Sioux Falls. Wayne enjoyed hunting with his boys, fishing, camping, scuba diving and four-wheeling. He devoted his life to his family, enjoying numerous vacations and memories. One of the happiest moments of life was becoming a grandfather to Dancey Hunter, age 4. Wayne worked as a contractor at EROS Data Center along with other small business he owned and operated. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and his smile for everyone. Wayne is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Wayne, Jr. (Punk), Matthew and Jordan; grandson, Dancey; his mother, Roselyn; sister Jan (Jim) Fastert and their family; sister-in-law, Anita (Stephen) Gundvaldson and their children, Tyler and Katie; sister-in-law, Beverly Gonzales and her family; sister-in-law, Charlotte (Mark) Franks and their daughter, Christina; brother-in-law, Stephan (Bonnie) Hendrickson and family; Virgil (Laura) Hendrickson and family, along with many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Dullerud; father-in-law, Vernon Hendrickson; and nephew, Christopher Franks; grandparents, Ben and Dora Anderson; aunts, Ethelyn Logsdon and Valoys Harms. Wayne will be forever in our hearts and forever loved and missed. Visitation will be 3-7 pm Wednesday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home (17th & Minn.). Funeral will be 11 am Thursday at Hope Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls, with interment at Komstad Covenant Cemetery, rural Beresford.
