Sara Thompson Azarski

Sara was born November 16, 1964 at Sioux Falls, the daughter of Gary and Joyce (Foster) Thompson. She grew up in Sioux Falls and was a graduate of Washington High School. She married Dean Unzelman on August 17, 1985 and they had three children. She worked in the laundry department at Covington Heights Nursing Home for several years. Sara had also worked at John Morrell Company, Mr. Nifty Gas Station, Gas Plus and Ripco Gas Station. She enjoyed going to the races, taking a drive in the car and attending events at the American Legion Post. She loved listening to music, especially Kenny Chesney and Johnny Cash. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Aaron Unzelman, Lisa Unzelman, and JoDean Unzelman, all of Sioux Falls; three grandchildren, Jahad, Marium and Andray; siblings, Danny (Lynita) Foster, Sheila Jones, Sheri Nordstrom, Denise (Michael) Barncastle and Darla Burger.
