Janice O'Connell

Janice Elaine Robb was born April 15, 1941 to Ernest and Sarah (Repp) Robb at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She grew up and attended school in Sioux Falls graduating from Washington High in 1959. Janice married Darrell O?Connell on March 12, 1960 at Sioux Falls. They lived at Beresford until 1967 and then lived one year at Pipestone, Minnesota. In 1969 they moved back to Sioux Falls. Janice worked at Tri-State Warehouse and later Modern Press and Label. Janice and Darrell moved to Spencer, Iowa in 1993. Darrell passed away on December, 27, 2006 at Hartley, Iowa. Janice moved back to Sioux Falls in 2008. Janice played softball on a team with her sister for several years and was part of a bowling league as well. She enjoyed playing solitaire and later in life became a football fan. Grateful for sharing her life are her children, David O?Connell, Sioux Falls and Jill Ontjes (Terry Horton), Canton, South Dakota; two grandchildren, Justin Ontjes and Jerrad Horton; and her twin sister, Junice Herschberger, Sioux Falls. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Darrell and five siblings, Gene, Dick, Wayne, Glenn and Fay.
