Marjorie Anderson

Marjorie was born on February 15, 1932 to Oscar and Jennie (Bolhouse) Clausen in Castlewood, South Dakota. She grew up on a farm near Castlewood and graduated from Castlewood High School in 1950. She then attended Nettleton Business College in Sioux Falls. Marge married Seth Anderson on March 10, 1967 at First Baptist Church in Sioux Falls. She worked in the office at Gage Brothers for 41 years. Marge enjoyed playing softball and also bowled in league for many years and was proud of her 297 game. She was a sports fan and liked watching the Minnesota Twins, along with a variety of other ball games, particularly if they were close games. For many years, Seth and Marge enjoyed camping with friends over the summer months, often at Lake Vermillion and Newton Hills. Once retired, they began wintering in Mesa, Arizona. Marjorie was 80 years old when she passed away on May 28, 2012 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Seth; sister, Judy (Donald) Eide, Sioux Falls and numerous nieces and nephews. Marge was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.
