Steve Fitzgerald

Steve was born October 28, 1951 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Raymond and Eileen (Kitchen) Fitzgerald. He grew up in Sioux Falls. Steve and Violet Ericksen were married on November 20, 1972 and raised three children, Jim, Steven and Amy. In 1971 Steve, along with his father and brothers, started Fitzgerald Concrete. Steve retired in 2002. Steve enjoyed spending time at the Log Cabin in Sioux Falls. He was on a bowling team and softball team for several years. Steve was an avid pool player and played 9 Ball at the Nickel Spot. He also coached little league baseball for a number of years. Grateful for sharing his life are his children, Jim (Kristie) Fitzgerald, Steven (Jaime) Fitzgerald, Amy (Mark) Burger all of Sioux Falls; eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Casandra, Tanner, Zachery, Justin, Logan, Mackenzie and Avery; three brothers, Gary (Carol) Fitzgerald, Paul (Sandy) Fitzgerald, Dale Fitzgerald; four sisters, Sharon (Pat) Boyles, Anna (Bob) Philips, Mary Fitzgerald, Sue Chabane; and sister-in-law, Betty Fitzgerald. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donny and sister-in-law, Kay.
