Seth (Andy) was born on September 6, 1921 to Henry and Katie (Fey) Anderson in Finley, North Dakota. He grew up on a farm, graduated from high school and then attended the University of North Dakota. Andy served in the US Army from December 1942 until his Honorable Discharge in December of 1945. He then worked for various employers including Concrete Materials and most recently, Gage Brothers where he worked for 10 years before retiring. Andy married Marjorie Clausen on March 10, 1967 at First Baptist Church in Sioux Falls. Andy enjoyed fishing, bowling and gardening. He loved to can pickles along with a variety of jams and jellies. Andy and Marge also enjoyed traveling and particularly enjoyed camping with friends over the summer months, often at Lake Vermillion and Newton Hills. Once retired, they began wintering in Mesa, AZ . Andy was 92 years old when he passed away on February 3, 2014 at Avera Prince of Peace in Sioux Falls. He will be remembered most for his constant kidding and witty come backs. Not one to complain, if asked how he was feeling, the response was usually with my fingers. Andy is survived by one brother, Clinton Anderson, Fargo, ND, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Marge, his parents, and four siblings, Ruth, Myrtle, George and Alfred.
