Robert Syfert

Robert Syfert was born July 10, 1953 at Portland, Oregon, the son of K. Eugene and Roberta (Beckner) Syfert. He graduated from Laurel Wood Academy and attended college. Robert served in the US Army for three in Texas and was discharged in 1982. He moved to Sioux Falls where he worked as an owner/operator truck driver for 35 years with Midwest Coast Transport. He loved Mack Trucks which is all he ever drove. Robert is married to Kathleen Smith on September 1, 2014. He is survived by his father, K. Eugene of Eugene, OR; his wife, Kathleen of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Vanessa of Vancouver, WA and granddaughter, Clementine; siblings, Richard, Linda and Elaine, all of Oregon.
