Richard Korstad

Richard was born September 8, 1922 at Thief River Falls, Minnesota, the son of Karl and Ruth (Godward) Korstad. He attended college at the University of Minnesota and then served in the US Navy during WWII. Dick married Arlene Hultstrand and they had three children. Dick operated a Team Electronics Store in Sioux Falls for 25 years. He was an active member at Calvary Cathedral Episcopal Church in Sioux Falls. He was also a member of the Optimist Club and a founding member of the local chapter of the Boys Club. He enjoyed water sports, sailing and going dancing. He is survived by his wife, Arlene; children, Karen Kerr of St. Augustine, FL, Greg of Scottsdale, AZ and Kevin of Sioux Falls; two grandchildren, Kleyten and Karlene; and two great grandchildren Bella Marie and Norah. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Karl.
