Oscar Morales

Oscar was born on March 22, 1974 in Candelaria De LA Frontera, Santa Ana, El Salvador, the son of Teofilo Gomez Argueta and Rosa Amelia Morales Linares. Oscar worked in El Salvador for many years at a shoe factory. He immigrated to the United States in 1999. He settled in Sioux Falls to be near family. Oscar worked at John Morrel for several years. In 2012, he began working at Michaels Foods in Flandreau, South Dakota. Oscar was 43 years old when he passed away on November 30, 2017 in Flandreau. Oscar grew up playing soccer and played in adult leagues as well. His favorite team was Barcelona. He enjoyed going fishing in his free time. Oscar will be lovingly remembered as a faithful son, father and brother. He was always in good spirits and had many friends. He is survived by his parents; five children, Martiza, Gabriella, Tatiana, Alexa and Javier; five sibings, Hugo, Carlos, Marcos, Mario and Arley.
