Lyle Dilley

Lyle Duane Dilley was born May 20, 1937 at Trimont, Minnesota to Leonard Dilley and Ruth (Anderson) Dilley. Lyle graduated from Jackson High School in 1955. After high school Lyle attended the University of Minnesota.
Lyle married Donna Mae Dorskie in 1958. They spent their early years in Jackson, Minnesota where they raised their children. In 1985 they moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where they have lived since.
Throughout his life Lyle made people and those around him his passion. He led an active life including; Jackson Booster Club, Jackson Volunteer Fire Department, Fans fan, Gopher fan, Twins fan, Vikings fan, Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce, board member for Kilian Community College and EMT instructor for Southwest Vocational Technical Institute.
Lyle enjoyed gardening, traveling, cooking, fine dinners and cocktails. He had fond memories of golfing with friends in Jackson and Sioux Falls. Lyle was truly a friend to all.
Lyle was manager for Coffee King. He enjoyed the camaraderie of co-workers and customers he met. Coffee became a passion and career.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna; son, Dan of Sioux Falls, SD, daughter, Amy and her husband Jeff of San Antonio, TX, and daughter, Elizabeth and her husband, Tom of Iowa City, Iowa; grandchildren, Amber, Jarrett, Joshua, Matthew and Benjamin.
Memorial service will be held 10 am, Friday, October 21 at the First Presbyterian Church, 2300 S. West Ave, Sioux Falls.
