Doreen Pospisil

October 18, 1955 - July 12, 2010

Doreen was born October 18, 1955 at Madison, SD, the daughter of Leonard and Doris Janke. She grew up at Madison and graduated from Madison High School.

Doreen married Terry Pospisil on December 29, 1978 in Madison. After marriage, the couple travled and played music together. They lived in Yankton and Kansas City, MO before settling at Sioux Falls in 1986.

Doreen was an executive assistant at Sanford USD Medical Center and was employed with the hospital for over 20 years. Doreen was part of the South Dakota Acoustic Christmas for many years. She was an active member at First Lutheran Church. She was 54 years old when she passed away July 12, 2010 at the Centennial Hospice Cottage, Sioux Falls.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; two daughters, Emma (Ryan) Kopp and Michaela Jo Pospisil, all of Sioux Falls; her parents, Leonard and Doris Janke of Madison; four brothers, Roger (Peggy) Janke of Dakota Dunes, Ronald (Bobbi) Janke of Madison, Fred (Linda) Janke of Madison and David Janke (Audra Johnson) of Sioux Falls.
